Neutrogena: Hydro Boost Gel Review

Neutrogena has a line of products that contain Hyaluronic Acid and they have quickly become a fan favourite. 

You may be wondering what exactly Hyaluronic Acid is and what the benefits are for your skin. 

Hyaluronic Acid, also known as Sodium Hyaluronate is the body’s natural hydrating molecule. It can absorb up to 1000x its weight and is responsible for keeping our skin looking plump, smooth and healthy!

Unfortunately, as we age our bodies lose the ability to produce as many of these molecules. By using skincare items that contain Hyaluronic Acid we can keep our skin looking healthy and fresh!

The product comes in a clear plastic bottle with an easy to use pump. The bottle is loaded with useful information such as, directions, the overall claim and the benefits of the product.

The Deets

After removing my makeup with a makeup wipe, I wet my face and apply three pumps of this product into my hands. Working the product into a soapy lather, I apply the cleansing gel to my face and work the product into my skin. 

I then take my Sephora – Pore Cleansing Pad and gently message the product and exfoliate my skin.

Pair It With

After cleansing my face with this product, I apply the Neutrogena – Hydro Boost Gel Moisturizer. Using these products together, my skin is left feeling super hydrated and soft!

I highly recommend trying this product out as well. It’s a great light weight, fast absorbing moisturizer, which also contains Hyaluronic Acid.

This has become my everyday facial cleanser as it is so gentle on my sensitive skin. It always leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft, never stripped or dry.

I love how the gel transforms into a silky lather to remove any left behind makeup or oil. Being super affordable, I will definitely be repurchasing!
